How to make up with letters or Notes

Writing letters or notes is one of the ways we can let others know  how we feel about them. These days people do not write too many letters or notes any more. They just text or e-mail our loved ones.

However, there is something about letters that make them stand out. One reason is that writing letters requires a lot more thought, energy and time than texting or e mails. This is precisely why letter writing or writing poems is one of the best ways to make up after a break up.

This allows you to gather your thoughts and talk to yourself.Self talk is very important for emotional clarity.First of all tell yourself what you feel about the situation or circumstance in your relationship. Why are things not as good as you would like them to be?Why are thinking of breaking up?Is it because of lack of understanding? Is it because of  constant criticism?

Write a letter, note or poem to yourself answering these questions.Tell yourself your own explanations for this situation.Be honest with your feelings and your role in these disagreements. This will help you get over your own emotional hurdles then you can write your loved one and tell hm or her how much they mean to you.
Remember if you are not sincere ,telling your loved one he or she is an angel ,won't cut it.It will just seem phony.

Another reason I encourage notes after a fight  is that weeks later it gives you  a snap shot of your feelings and reactions during a fight. This will help you learn emotional lessons. It will help you learn when to speak and when  to listen .This will certainly be a great help  when next you have a disagreement.

Yes next time! One of the keys to having a happy relationship not dominated by stress,is to find ways to disagree without getting into a fight.Writing  letters, notes and poems will be a great help.Just do it.!
